The branch exists though, to provide support and comradeship, and branch members enjoy lively monthly social meetings, and in the past have enjoyed some fun events and tours.

Annual Charity Concerts
In addition to social activities for the branch members, from 2003 – 2010 the branch organised annual public charity concerts in aid of RAFA Wings Appeal, with performances by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force. These turned out to be very popular, sell-out performances raising a total of £27,870.
